Imagination – The Abraham Example

God's Thought expressed as light
God Spoke His Thoughts and Creation Was.
The Old Testament is filled with pictures and symbols. Jesus used parables in the New Testament. These methods of communication invoke the imagination, which is the birthplace of reality.

God is the creator and he created us to be creators as well. In Abraham we see how God was training us to use our imagination to lay hold of future promises. God told Abraham whatever he could “see” was his. In like manner the Holy Spirit is teaching us today that whatever we can imagine on the inside, will manifest on the outside once we are convinced within.

There is no struggle, no painful labor, no sweat when it comes to creating things God‘s way. We just picture it in our imagination and feel it’s reality within. That is the equivalent of sowing seed into the good ground of our heart. Within the seed of our imagination is all the power to produce what is imagined. All we have to do is let go and let God arrange everything to make that imagined thing become reality.

Our imagination can work for us or against us. Therefore, guard your heart above all things because out of it, our imagination, are the issues of life. In other words, our imagination becomes our realization. What is sown will be reaped!
