It Will Be According to Your Faith

Faith is the most powerful source of creation in the universe.  It took faith to create the world and everything in it.  God spoke words of faith and what He said happened!  I once heard a preacher say that God doesn’t need faith.  That is absurd!  He created it and uses it all the time.  That’s why He expects us to use our faith to do and have anything we want or desire.  Mark 11:23 says that we need to have God’s faith or God’s kind of faith.  Many translations say, “Have faith in God,” but, the proper translation is “Have God’s faith.”  The secret is to make God’s faith ours. Faith is a BIG DEAL with God.  Whatever you ...

Don’t Take It Anymore!

Life was never meant to be dull, mediocre, drab, or plain.  Life is meant to be full of meaning.  It’s meant to excite and challenge you.  Life is your chance to make a mark and to make a difference. Most people are born, die, and a few days after the funeral, hardly anyone even remembers they existed.  Sure, they had family, friends, and colleagues, but that’s common; everyone has that.  They left nothing behind, but memories.  However, we were born for something more. One day I woke up.  After living a “normal” life, one that was plain and caused me to blend into the to the crowd, I was fed up.  I was living paycheck to paycheck and barely getting ...

The Elusiveness of Faith

Faith, to many, is an elusive thing.  Many people think they have faith, but their faith doesn’t produce results.  Their faith is not supernatural, its’ natural.  Therefore, they throw in the towel and end up with the belief that: The Bible doesn’t work The Bible doesn’t work for THEM God is angry with them and doesn’t recognize THEIR faith What they are believing God for must not be His will God’s answer is “No!” First off, faith in not a mental thing.  Many people say they have faith, but it’s something very superficial and is more mental (or natural) than anything else.  Genuine faith is the faith of God that was put in every believer at new birth.  This faith ...

Establishing Trust – Send Out Your Roots

Trust is an amazing thing.  Trust brings joy and confidence.  Trust enables and provides for many possibilities.  Trust is something far more precious than gold or silver.  Trust can never be bought, but only earned. Trust is very important to God.  He loves when we trust Him, for when we do, nothing is impossible.  When we do not trust Him, we are living a life by our own power and strength; living only by possibilities and never knowing the impossible manifesting in our lives. A man or woman who trusts in the Lord is blessed.  They are like trees planted by water who send out their roots deep into the earth of God’s Word.  They never worry or fear.  Their ...

You Have Territory to Take

The children of Israel were in bondage for over 400 years.  They labored and toiled to build treasure cities for the Egyptians.  The funny thing about this type of bondage is that it can be excepted as the “norm.”  If in a situation long enough, no matter how bad it is, it will eventually will consider it to be normal. This was the case with Israel.  God had awesome plans for them.  He made a promise to Abraham that He HAD to fulfill.  That promise was a Good Land for Abraham’s seed.  Therefore, God sent Moses as a deliverer to rescue Israel from the “house of bondage” and take them to the promised land, a land flowing with milk honey, ...

Partakers of His Divine Nature

2 Peter 2:5 says that we, yes, WE can become partakers of God’s divine nature.  We can ingest who God is and partake of Him and all that He has for us.  Only then can we EXHIBIT the goodness of God to all around us.  To try to exhibit God’s goodness apart from His living in us is pure hypocrisy and would not be sustainable because of who we are.  The true you will eventually come out. God never intended for us to be on Earth while He is in Heaven.  He intended and intends to bring Heaven to Earth through our participation in His divine nature.  How on earth can we mere mortals partake of God’s divine nature?  We ...

Saved, but Lost

I'm saved but feel lost I grew up in a small town.  I am so thankful for my childhood.  It was safe and I was blessed to be born into such a family and environment.  I was a “good kid.”  I never got involved in alcohol, drugs, or the sex scene.  On the outside everything was great.  However, on the inside I was instinctively seeking to be right with God.  I was superstitious and slept with a small Bible under my pillow thinking that would make God happy and protect me.   On June 17, 1973, I went to a revival meeting in a small church and there I received Jesus as my Savior.  That was the day my life changed ...

Prophetic Words Spoken by You

Prophecy into Your Life We are all prophets.  It’s just how God made us (ref. 1 Cor. 14:31-32).  Our prophetic voice has the power to build up, give understanding, encouragement, consolation, and by our voice we can bring into being that which didn’t exist before.  We can speak into our future and prepare it to look like what we say.  Our prophetic voice can also tear down and bring devastation. It’s easy to see how our voice can negatively change things quickly.  Just tell someone their breath sticks and see what happens!  Watch what just three words, “Your breath stinks” can do to a person’s attitude and actions.  Just say “hijack” on an airplane and see what happens!  Just that ...

Dead Beat Christians – Having the Form, but Not the Power

Don't Be a DBC What do I mean by being a deadbeat Christian (DBC)?  It is a person who claims to be a Christian, but has no power or evidence of God’s life operating in them.  They have the form, but no power.  They are alive in body and soul, but lack the operation of God’s life in them. Now some of these folks are actually born-again.  However, they follow form and tradition that makes void the Word of God in their lives.  They are what I call, unbelieving-believers.  They are all talk, but no action.  And when they do act, it’s based on the natural and the possible, not the supernatural and the impossible. Alive, but dead, DBC’s go ...
