The Law That Governs Everything

It’s in the seed!

Most of my life was spend reacting to what was going on around me. I lived a life not understanding that I had more control over my destiny than I realized. I was NOT living the life I dreamed of, for sure. Who dreams of living paycheck to paycheck? Who dreams of going bankrupt and getting a divorce? Who dreams of living in debt? Who dreams of living with poor health? Those are not dreams, they are nightmares! Yet this is the reality of MOST people.

One day I learned a VERY important law that governs EVERYTHING. It is the law of cause and effect, or sometimes referred to as the law of sowing and reaping. This law states that you will reap in greater proportion than what you what you sow. Everything is ruled by this law whether we like it or not. The key is to use this law to our advantage.

For example, if I sow a single grain of corn, that grain will produce a stalk of corn that possess several ears of corn that has several kernels of corn on each cob. That single grain produced hundreds of gains! The Law of Cause and Effect is an amazing law and it works every time!

I have learned that everything I say and do is sowing and that my life, to this date, is a harvest of what I have been sowing. Sometime I say and do bad things and sometime and say and do wonderful things. The result of sowing both good and bad results is a life that seems to go NOWHERE! For some, they sow more bad than good and their life reflects that fact. Others say or do more good than bad and they experience better results.

When I realized this LAW and began to use it to my advantage. I began to change, with intention, what I had been saying and doing. I changed my vocabulary and activities. Instead of saying “I can’t afford that.” I would say, “I’ll have that!” Instead of saying, “I’m feel sick.” I would say, “I’m feeling better and better.” I stopped confessing the “facts” in my life and started confessing what I EXPECTED or WANTED. (More on this in a later post)

The Book of Proverbs states that, “Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” This is a powerful and profound truth. With our tongue, we can speak life or death into our situation.

The same is true with our actions. What we do will come back to us multiplied! If we are grateful and courteous we will harvest (get back) more of the same in our lives. People will reflect back to us what we give out. If we are givers we will be amazed at how much is given back to us from multiple sources and in multiple ways.

This post is a brief discussion of a very powerful law. Understanding this law changed my life. Learning how to use it to your advantage will change yours as well.
